"I grew up on the film, and it was more than I could have imagined. So inspiring and magical. Instead of Billy Elliott, I ended up going to this because Oktoberfest was cheaper, and I'm so glad I did. It is def for the whole family, even though I went alone. There isn't really a moment that is that sad in the show. In the end, I was literally weeping uncontrollably, tears streaming down my face, not because it was sad. I was crying because of the caliber of the performance, how much the actors were giving, and stifling back a cry. The show was just beautiful, and the leads were outstanding. I fell for Bert and his great sense of humor, even though he isn't my type. Oktoberfest was phenomenal. I have never been in a show where the audience gives a standing ovation for the last 5 minutes during the bow. I felt the cast's energy was all there, and thank you for such an unforgettable memory."
